PUBLIC COMMENT: There was no one with any public comment at this time. CONSTABLE: Bob Reed was contacted by a resident on Hwy 10. For a few years, there have been some neighboring dogs wandering in the field and recently they’ve been coming closer, and the resident is getting concerned. Bob has been monitoring and hasn’t noticed anything, but will contact the owner of the dogs. PLANNING: Larry Gilbertson reported a certificate to occupy was received for a residence. A permit was issued for a new shed and then a permit was issued for another new shed. There was a permit issued for a new house with an early Spring 2027 build scheduled. Larry received some information and emails from Quest regarding two properties in Lindsey that want to redraw their lot lines. Currently, the property lines are jagged and they want to straighten them out because there is a well on the wrong side of the line. The owners are okay with it and a certified survey map was sent to Larry. After some discussion, Pete Winistorfer said that the County needs to approve this and send it to the Board. We don’t receive certified survey maps directly from residents or surveyors. FIRE DEPARTMENT: Bob Reed reported that a couple members were taking some classes this fall. The Department is currently going through its budget to present to the Board next month. One item they are discussing is an increase in payment for the Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief. One more fundraiser is going to be held at the end of October and more details will be shared next month. Bob has been working on getting some issues resolved with the National Reporting System that is used. LINDSEY PARK: Rob Zahradka noted that construction was started by the County last week and they are beginning with the drainage issues. Rob also mentioned that the airplane toy that was donated has been getting a lot of use. CEMETERY: Pete Winistorfer asked Margot Jones to give an update on the cemetery sign. Margot explained that it’s moving forward and she’s been working with Stratford Sign, looking at some rough drafts and making updates. Pete also commented that a “No Exit” sign was ordered for the cemetery and will be put up for Highway 10. TREASURER’S REPORT: The August 2026 Treasurer’s Report was presented by Lisa Anderson.
