Public Comments: No Public Comments APPROVE MINUTES OF MEETING: The February 9, 2021 Meeting Minutes were sent to the board members via e-mail on February 16, 2021. Motion by Bob Cassaday to approve the February 2021 Board Meeting Minutes. Second by Matt Joiner. all ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Bob Cassaday to accept the March Accounts Payables for a total of $40,713.41Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Bob Cassaday to approve issuing a check to purchase the CAT 214B Cruz-Aire Backhoe. Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried. Treasurers Report: The financial report was prepared and read by Janet M. Bell, Treasurer. Motion by Bob Cassaday to accept the financial report as submitted, Second by Matt Joiner. all ayes. Motion carried. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITEES Zoning Permits: No Zoning Permits Building Permits: No Building Permits Fire Department Fire Dept Meeting Minutes were read by Chief Andy Gingerich. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Marshfield Area Pet Shelter: No action taken. ATV/UTV Ordinance: Motion by Matt Joiner to adopt the 2021-01 Ordinance Designating All-Terrain/Utility-Terrain Vehicle Routes and Regulating the Operation of All-Terrain/Utility-Terrain Vehicles. Second by Bob Cassaday 5 ayes. 0 nays. Motion carried. 2021 District Meeting – Virtual: Motion by Dalton Tysver to allow Janet M. Bell/Treasurer to participate in the Virtual District Meetings for $30.00 Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried., Winter Maintenance Items: No action taken. Roadwork: No action taken. Roadwork Bids: Motion by Bob Cassaday to accept the bid from American Asphalt for $126,662.10 Second by Matt Joiner. all ayes. Motion carried. Building Maintenance: No action taken. Township Tools and Equipment: Motion by Matt Joiner to spend $5,000.00 on tools. Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: Annual Audit/Financial Report: The Clerk and Treasurer each prepared an Annual Financial Report which were reviewed and signed by the Board Members. Dan Schmitt CSM/City of Marshfield Land R/W Dedication Resolution: Motion by Bob Cassaday to approve the resolution for the Dan Schmitt/CSM City of Marshfield 7’ Land Dedication Resolution suggested with our Planning Commission. Second by Dalton Tysver. all ayes. Motion carried. CAT 214B Cruz-Aire Backhoe: Motion by Bob Cassaday to approve to purchase CAT 214B Cruz-Aire Backhoe for up to $19,500.00 Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried. Fire Dept.
