TOWN OF LINCOLN 10905 Falcon Road Board Meeting Minutes Tuesday November 13, 2018 7:00 p.m. Board Members Present: David Rogers-Chairman, Bob Cassaday, Josh Mauritz, Matt Joiner, Leonard Johnson – Supervisors Kathleen Altmann-Drinka/Clerk were present. Janet M. Bell -Treasurer was absent. Public Comments: No Public Comments APPROVE MINUTES OF MEETING: The 2018 October Meeting Minutes were sent to the board members via e-mail on October 31, 2018. Motion by Bob Cassaday to approve the 2018 October Meeting Minutes with the changes. Second by Leonard Johnson. all ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Bob Cassaday to approve the October Budget Meeting Minutes. Second by Matt Joiner. all ayes. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: The financial report was prepared by Janet M. Bell, Treasurer, and read by Kathleen Altmann-Drinka/Clerk. Motion by Matt Joiner to accept the financial report as submitted, Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITEES Zoning Permits: No Zoning Permits Building Permits: No Building Permits Fire Department: Fire Dept Meeting Minutes were read by Andy Gingerich. NEW BUSINESS: Rural Mutual Insurance: Representative Jennifer Howen from Rural Insurance was here to discuss the policy coverage and pricing. A summary of the insurance coverage had been given to the board members. Motion by Bob Cassaday to adjourn the Town Board meeting at 8:20 pm Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried. PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING: Board Members present: David Rogers-Chairman, Josh Mauritz, Matt Joiner, Bob Cassaday, Leonard Johnson-Supervisors Kathleen Altmann-Drinka/Clerk. 1 member of the public was present. Public Budget Meeting was called to order by Chairman David Rogers. The 2019 proposed budget handouts were made available to the members and to the public. The 2019 proposed budget was read by Chairman David Rogers. The 2019 Proposed Budget is on the Towns Website. Motion by Bob Cassaday to close the Budget Meeting at 8:27 pm Second by Matt Joiner. all ayes. Motion carried. SPECIAL TOWN ELECTOR MEETING: Special Town Elector Meeting was called to order by Chairman David Rogers following the Public Budget Hearing. Motion by Josh Mauritz to approve the 2018 total town tax levy to be collected in 2019 at $383,207.00 Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. Resolution for Electors to Adopt the Town Tax Levy is on the Towns Website. Motion by Matt Joiner to close the Special Elector Meeting. Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. Chairman David Rogers opened the Town Board Meeting at 8:36 pm. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Record Retention Schedule Adoption: No Action Taken 2018 Roadwork: Crack sealed Yellow River Road, Millcreek Road, Wren Rd, Oriole Lane and Lincoln Road. Winter Maintenance Items: Decomposed Granite and Salt have been delivered and is in the salt shed. NEW BUSINESS: Ambulance Contract: No Action Taken Approve Final Budget: Motion by Josh Mauritz to approve the proposed 2019 budget. Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. ANNOUNCEMENTS: There will be a meeting of the Wood County Unit of Wisconsin Towns Association on the evening of Friday December 7, 2018 at 7:30 pm.
