PUBLIC COMMENTS: No Public Comments APPROVE MAY MINUTES OF MEETING: The May 2018 Meeting Minutes were sent to the board members via e-mail on May 29, 2018. Motion by Matt Joiner to approve the May 2018 Meeting Minutes. Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: The financial report was prepared and read by Janet M. Bell, Treasurer. Motion by Bob Cassaday to accept the financial report as submitted; Second by Leonard Johnson. all ayes. Motion carried. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTIES Zoning Permits: David Rogers/10907 Millcreek Drive/Garage/Patio Daniel Vandenberg/10744 County H/Patio David Burkart/11855 Lincoln Avenue/Garage Replacement Building Permits: No Building Permits Fire Department: Meeting Minutes were read by Deputy Chief Andy Gingerich UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Bids & Proposals Opening: Motion by Josh Mauritz to accept the American Asphalt Bid for 35,313.73 for Millcreek Road. Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. Furnish & place 4-inch dense base 1 ¼ inches thick on existing asphalt surface. Pulverize the existing asphalt pavement for base course. Fine grade, water, and compact the base course material. Pave with WisDOT spec. Type 4LT 58-28S asphalt mix compacted to an average thickness of 2 inches. Road Work 2018: Postponing the Pleasant Road project until 2019 and will rebid next yea,r but will allocate $70,000.00 of 2018 road funding for Pleasant Road to be done in 2019. Bushman Subdivision: New home being built in the Northwest Corner in the Bushman Subdivision. Building Maintenance – Roof Exterior: Motion by Josh Mauritz to accept the bid from Kulp’s of Stratford for completion of Peaked Roof Repair for $3,990.00 Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: Mower Insurance: No Action Taken Liquor Licenses: Motion by Bob Cassaday to approve the renewal of the Liquor Licenses for Abares Outer Limits LLC, Bakerville Sports Bar, JJ Golf LLC, Lefty’s Trackside Bar, Marshfield Motor Speedway, RiverEdge Country Club, T’s on 10, The Vintage House. Second by Matt Joiner. all ayes. Motion carried. License Temporary Class B Liquor: No Action Taken Dust Control: No Action Taken Enbridge Road Use Agreement: Motion by Matt Joiner to approve the Enbridge Road Agreement for 2018. Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried. Superintendent Annual Review: Motion by Leonard Johnson to increase the Hwy Superintendent hourly rate to 3%, effective January 1, 2019. Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. Announcements: There will be a meeting of the Wood County Unit of Wisconsin Towns Association on the evening of Friday June 15, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Saratoga Town Hall, Wisconsin Rapids Speaker Rick Bakovaa, REGI-Regional Economic Growth Initiative, will talk about Economic Growth. July Monthly Board Meeting Date changed to July 17, 2018 August Monthly Board Meeting date changed to August 16, 2018 Motion by Matt Joiner to adjourn the meeting at 9:21 p.m. Second by Leonard Johnson. all ayes.
