TOWN OF LINCOLN 10905 FALCON ROAD BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday May 8, 2018 7:00 p.m. Board Members Present: David Rogers-Chairman, Bob Cassaday, Josh Mauritz, Matt Joiner, Leonard Johnson - Supervisors, Janet M. Bell-Treasurer, Kathleen Altmann-Drinka-Clerk. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Ted Ashbeck was here to talk to the board members. He is running for Sherriff/Wood County November 6, 2018 He has 20 years of Experience; Protecting our Community, Using Budgets & Resources Wisely, Strengthening Community Partnerships, Improving Officer Training. APPROVE APRIL MINUTES OF MEETING: The April 2018 Meeting Minutes were sent to the board members via e-mail on April 20, 2018. Motion by Bob Cassaday to approve the April 2018 Meeting Minutes. Second by Leonard Johnson. all ayes. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: The financial report was prepared and read by Janet M. Bell, Treasurer. Motion by Matt Joiner to accept the financial report as submitted; Second by Leonard Johnson. all ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Bob Cassaday to accept the Accounts Payables for a total of $54,589.91 Second by Josh Mauritz. all ayes. Motion carried. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTIES Zoning Permits: No Zoning Permits Building Permits: No Building Permits Fire Department: Meeting Minutes were read by Fire Chief Tom Suchomel UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Building Maintenance: No Action Taken Roadwork 2018: Discussed crack filling and doing all the paved roads in the township this year, with the exception of Yellow River Road from County B To Eagle Road where we decided to use a poly-mastic crack sealer. Discussed various locations in the town that will need ditch cleaning. Discussed adding a culvert on Fairhaven at Ranch Road, that will cross under Fairhaven, and added other culverts that need to be replaced. Discussed reconstruction on Pleasant, south of Hwy Y, and discussed pulverizing and repaving Mill Creek Road, from County B West to River Edge Golf Course. Bushman Subdivision: No Action Taken NEW BUSINESS: Public Participation Procedures for Updating the Comprehensive Plan Resolution: Motion by Josh Mauritz to Adopt the Resolution No. 2018-2 Public Participation Procedures for Updating the Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Lincoln, Wood County. Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. WTA Educational Videos: Motion by Leonard Johnson to approve for the WTA Educational Videos for $50.00 Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. WMCA Conference Classes for the Clerk: Motion by Bob Cassaday to sign up our clerk for the WMCA Conference Classes in Green Bay, WI. not to exceed $500.00 Second by Matt Joiner. all ayes Motion carried. Board Meeting Dates for July & August: Motion by Josh Mauritz to move the July 10, 2018 meeting to July 17, 2018 and the August 14, 2018 meeting to August 16, 2018 Second by Leonard Johnson. all ayes. Motion carried. Ordinance for Alternative Claims Procedure: Motion by Matt Joiner to adopt the Ordinance for Alternative Claims Procedure 2018-01. Second by Bob Cassaday. all ayes. Motion carried. Announcements: There will be a meeting of the Wood County Unit of Wisconsin Towns Association on the evening of Friday May 18, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Town of Rudolph Town Hall. Speaker Roland Hawk on Chip Sealing. United Ambulance. WTA Directors and Elected Officials have been invited to attend. Board of Review Open Book Session is May 9, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm located at Town of Lincoln Hall. Board of Review is May 16, 2018 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. located at Town of Lincoln Hall.
