November 14, 2023 Town Budget & Special Electors Meting

TOWN OF PORT EDWARDS BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING MEETING MINUTES Date: November 14th, 2022 Call to Order: Chairman Randy Moody called the meeting to order at 6 p.m. in the Town Hall. The meeting began with the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance. Meeting Certification: This meeting has been properly posted (on the Town’s three posting boards, and on the Town Hall door) as well as published on our website and in the Daily Tribune, to notify the public of date, place, time, and agenda. Attendance: Chairman Randy Moody, Supervisor Jeff O’Donnell, Treasurer Kathy Reese, Clerk Michelle Sorenson. people () from the public were also in attendance. Agenda: Approve the agenda Review the 2023 budget and answer any questions Public Input Adjourn Motion was made by and seconded by to approve the agenda. Motion carried. 2023 Budget: The budget was reviewed line by line. The Clerk reworked the budget structure as it appears on paper. It is much easier to understand what each category is made from. It makes the budgets (revenues and disbursements) a bit lengthier but much clearer. Total cash and revenues for 2023 are $. There were no questions from the public and there is a year and a half left to pay on the Town tractor and six years left on the Lynn Hill Road loan. Public input: There was none.
