1 TOWN OF PORT EDWARDS SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES Date: July 5th, 2023 Call to Order: Chairman Randy Moody called the meeting to order at 6:04p.m. The pledge of allegiance was recited to begin the meeting. Meeting Certification: This meeting has been properly posted (on the Town Hall door) as well as published on our website to notify the public of date, place, time, and agenda. Attendance: Chairman Randy Moody, Supervisors Tim Schmidt, Jeff O’Donnell, Treasurer Kathy Reese, Clerk Michelle Sorenson. Agenda: Approve the agenda Motion to convene in closed session under Wis. Stat. 19.85(1),(c) to discuss hiring and compensation issues Reconvene into open session Adjourn O’Donnell moved to approve the agenda and Schmidt seconded. Motion carried. Closed Session: O’Donnell made a motion to go into closed session to discuss issues related to hiring and compensation. Schmidt seconded and the motion carried. Reconvene in Open Session: Being no other business to discuss in closed session, O’Donnell made a motion to reconvene into open session at 7:28p. Schmidt seconded the motion and the motion carried. Adjourn: Business had concluded so O’Donnell made a motion to adjourn the special meeting and Schmidt seconded. All were in favor and the motion carried.
