Sand clean up will start after the storm comes through Wednesday evening and then mowing will start after that. No one around us is planning on posting roads this year. Next week our postings can be taken down as well. New Business: Superintendent Bena: Superintendent Bena was unable to make the meeting tonight. We will carry this item to next month’s agenda. Plank Hill Lane: O’Donnell made a motion to put Plank Hill Lane out for bids. Schmidt seconded the motion and the motion carried. Sealed bids that are received will be opened during March’s regular board meeting. Old Business: There was no old business to address. Public input: A Town resident made a comment to the increased truck traffic on Lynn Hill Road. Semis, dump trucks, and big trucks hauling brush and pulp seem to be enjoying the smooth travel Lynn Hill Road has to offer. She asked if there were any possibilities for posting the road? Posting the road for 20 ton would equal 40,000 pounds and should result in only empty trucks travelling the road. Adam will post a Class B weight limit on the road next week. Another attending resident asked for an update on the Kelnhofer situation. Chairman provided information he obtained from a recent conversation with Dan. Dan informed him that he is doing auto work for TJ’s Auto and has limited how much private work he accepts. Doesn’t seem to have motivated his clean up efforts at all unfortunately. Next Scheduled Board Meeting: The next regularly scheduled Town Board Meeting is set for Monday, March 11th, 2024. The meeting will begin upon the conclusion of the Public Hearing for a conditional use permit application. Both the Public Hearing and the regular monthly Town board meeting will be conducted at the Port Edwards Town Hall. The conditional use permit public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6p.m. Adjourn: Being no other business to conduct, O’Donnell made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:27p.m. and Schmidt seconded. All were in favor and the motion carried. Respectfully submitted, Michelle Sorenson, Clerk
