Town of Milladore Board of Supervisors Meeting July 5, 2026, 6:30 pm 3720 County Road P, Milladore, WI, 54454 Meeting Minutes Town Board Present: Chairman Ned Ruesch, Supervisor Ron Koziczkowski, Clerk Leslianne Ruesch, Treasurer Terri Grassel The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance by Chairman Ned Ruesch. The secretary report from the June 7th meeting was read. A motion was moved by Supervisor Ron Koziczkowski to accept these minutes. Seconded by Ned. Motion approved. The secretary report from the June 29th meeting was read. A motion was made by Ned to accept these minutes. Seconded by Ron. Motion approved. The treasurer report was received. Old Business: A Class A Retail Intoxicating Liquor, Class A Retail Fermented Malt Beverage, Cigarette Tobacco and Vaping Device Retail License, and 7 operating licenses were issued to Swetz Country Corner Mart. Four operating licenses were issued to Empty Nest Winery. New Business: We have been awarded a TRI grant in the amount of $22,974 for repair of Cherney St. We will begin plans to get this work done. The Maintenance of Effort Report was filed with The Department of Revenue. The Taxation District Exemption Summary Form was filed with The Department of Revenue. The Municipal Official Contract Form was filed with The Department of Revenue. An insurance audit was completed and sent to Rural Mutual. Absentee ballots for the August 11, 2026, primary have been issued. Recycling Center Updates: There were no updates about the Recycling Center. Sanitary District Updates: The plant continues the process of replacing the phosphorous system to become compliant with DNR standards. The district received a claim payment from their insurance in the amount of $98,828.33 for prior commissioner misconduct in office and theft in office. This money will help offset the expenses incurred in the past year. Grants or a loan will still be needed to finish the updates needed for the district. Road Repair and Concerns: Cracksealing will be done in the upcoming week, provided weather cooperates. We continue to grade roads as needed. Brushcutting for spring has been completed. It will be done again in the fall. Dust abatement has been finished. Clerk Mail: A letter was received from Rep. Cory Tomczyk about the new bidding legislation that was passed into Wisconsin law this spring. There was no public comment. A motion was moved by Ned to pay bills. Seconded by Ron. Motion carried. The next Town of Milladore Board of Supervisors Meeting will be held on August 2, 2026, at 6:30 pm, at the town hall, located at 3720 County Road P, Milladore, WI, 54454. A motion was moved by Ron to adjourn. Seconded by Ned. Meeting adjourned.
