Board of Supervisors Meeting — Minutes

Town of Milladore Board of Supervisors Meeting January 4, 2026, 6:30 pm 3720 County Road P, Milladore, WI, 54454 Meeting Minutes Board Members Present: Chair Ned Ruesch, Supervisor Joel Kuehnhold, Supervisor Ron Koziczkowski, Clerk Leslianne Ruesch, Treasurer Terri Grassel. The meeting was called to order by Ned Ruesch with the Pledge of Allegiance. The secretary report was read. A motion was moved by Ned to approve the report. Seconded by Joel. Motion approved. The treasurer report was received. There was one addition to the agenda-discussion of meeting fees during tax season. Old business: The new plow truck has arrived. The operators are very pleased with it’s performance. Taxes were mailed out. The treasurer took in person payments on December 31, 2026. The next day of in-person collection of payments will be held on January 31, 2026, from 9-noon, at the town hall. There has still been no answer from The Sherry Fire Department to our open records request. New Business: There is currently a rule to pay our board a $50 stipend for extra meetings, or a $100 stipend for full day meetings. The in-person collection of taxes is time consuming for the treasurer. The board agrees this would qualify as an additional meeting. A motion was moved by Joel that the full day $100 stipend will be paid for each of the 2 days the treasurer collects taxes at the town hall. Seconded by Ron. Motion approved. Recycling Center Updates: We can expect the shared bills to be slightly higher this winter due to paying for plowing at the recycling center. Overall, the recycling center costs have come down greatly in the past year. Sanitary District Updates: The new commission has been appointed and took office on January 1,2026. Oaths of Office were given and filed with the clerk’s office. The next meeting for The Blenker Sherry Sanitary District Commission will take place on January 20, 2026, at 6:30 pm at the Milladore Town Hall. The new bill for the first quarter has been mailed out. Included is a survey about equipment installed at each residence to better help our contractor devise a plan for maintenance and upgrades. Road Repairs and Concerns: There are a few needs for equipment upgrades. A vibrator for the plow truck and LED lights for the grader need to be purchased. Ron will take care of this in the upcoming month. Clerk Mail: a. We have received a request from Rural Mutual to complete an audit. This will be completed by the end of the month. There was no public comment. A motion was moved by Joel to pay bills. Seconded by Ron. Motion approved. The next Town of Milladore Board of Supervisors meeting will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 6:30 pm at The Milladore Town Hall, 3720 County Road P. A motion was moved by Joel to adjourn. Seconded by Ron. Meeting adjourned.
