Board of Supervisors Special Meeting — Minutes

Town of Milladore Board of Supervisors Special Meeting August 11, 2025 5:40 pm Minutes Board members present: Chair Ned Ruesch, Supervisor Joel Kuehnhold, Supervisor Ron Koziczkowski, Clerk Leslianne Ruesch The meeting was called to order by Ned Ruesch. Ned stated the purpose of this meeting was to discuss the information we had received by our town lawyer, Lee Turonie, Dempsey Law. He can send letters on our behalf to The Sherry Fire Department in accordance with the open records law. This will allow us to see all their financial records, so we can finally answer how they have been spending our taxpayer’s money. We can reach out to the CPA we have used in the past to examine these records. Additionally, he can send letters to ask them not to visit our homes and farms in further attempts to discuss fire contract business. This can then be enforced by the Wood County Sheriff department as trespassing. A motion was moved by Joel to ask Attorney Lee Turonie to send a letter to The Sherry Fire Department asking that no member of their fire department come to any member of the Town of Milladore Board’s home or work to discuss any fire business. Seconded by Ron. Motion carried. A motion was moved by Joel to ask Attorney Lee Turonie to send a letter to The Sherry Fire Department requesting copies of all their financial information to include budget, bank accounts, cds, etc. per the Wisconsin open records law. Seconded by Ron. Motion carried. A motion was moved by Ned to adjourn. Motion seconded by Joel. Adjourned.
