Old Business:
Liquor licenses for Swetz have been completed. The clerk performed the necessary background checks, and issued the Class A Retailer and Operator Licenses.
Operator licenses for Empty Nest Winery were issued.
A letter signed by the board was sent certified mail to The Sherry Fire Department with a 90 day notice to rescind our contract. A list of conditions were given that would need to be met if they are interested in pursuing a contract with Milladore in the future.
A receipt was received for the incident regarding lost glasses at the recycling center. This had been tabled last month until the board could see the receipt.
The contract presented by The Auburndale Fire Department at the June meeting needs to be reviewed and voted on.
The clerk has filed the MOE report with The Department of Revenue.
The clerk has filed the new contact information with the Department of Revenue.
The clerk had a meeting with The DNR in regards to the annual recycling report as well as operating procedure for the joint recycling center. This information has been given to Supervisor Joel Kuehnhold, who will be taking charge of the recycling center and making sure the changes are implemented.
The board attended the Town of Sherry Supervisors meeting on June 10, to discuss the recycling center.
The clerk has been in contact with the DNR in regards to the grant money we have not yet received for the Smokey Hill project. The delay seems to be caused by a new representative taking it over, who did not have access to the original files we sent. The clerk reissued the reports and receipts, and was told we should receive the check soon.
Paperwork was sent to the county as requested to finalize the assessor’s certificate for the board of review.
A check will be issued tonight for the duration of the fire contract with The Sherry Fire Department. This will be for their service from July-September.
New Business:
We have reached out to the Wood County Highway Department for participation in the 50/50 program.
We have received a survey map for a property on Mayflower Road. This needs to be reviewed, signed, and returned to the County.

Work was done to the grader, and the results for the oil sample have been received.
