New Business: Sanitary delinquencies have been received, and the clerk filed them with the county. The chair gave an update on the sanitation department meeting he attended. The current head of sanitation would like to retire. There is currently no one interested in replacing him. The chair reported that the meeting was unproductive, and at this time no salary, or job requirements have been listed. The hall has been equipped with some ADA compliant features, including a wider aisle, non-slip mats for the ramp, and a handicap accessible voting booth. There will be more upgrades coming. Survey maps for Rocky Bolder were reviewed and sent back to the county. The Auburndale Fire Department contract was received, along with a request to pay the bill. The clerk drafted a letter, and included a copy of the check that was paid to them and cashed in August. We believe this will clear up any confusion over an outstanding bill. We will be hosting the WTA meeting in December. It will be held at the Village Hall on December 6. We have arranged for Laura Huber to be our guest speaker. She is the head of the Wood County Extension Office, and will be speaking about what they have to offer our community, and the 4H program. A meal will be provided. Ron brought a sample of slurry seal, something the town is interested in pursuing next spring. We will be looking for grants next year to help cover some of these costs. Ned moved a motion to pay bills. Seconded by Joel. Motion approved. The next meeting will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Joel moved a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Hank. Motion approved.
