Town Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes April 7, 2024 Board Members Present: Ned Ruesch, Hank Nigh, Joel Kuehnhold, Leslianne Ruesch, Ken Manlick. Others Present: Ron Koziczkowski, Bob Ashbeck, Pat Altman, Paul Haffenbredl, Connie Smith, Nick Nigh The meeting was called to order by Ned Ruesch with the Pledge of Allegiance. The secretary report was read. Hank moved a motion to accept. Seconded by Ned. Motion approved. The treasurer report was received. Old Business: Bids will be published in the newspapers of Wausau, Stevens Point, Marshfield, and Wisconsin Rapids. We will request bids for gravel, granite, chip seal, dust abatement, and brushcutting. The Board of Review will be held on August 27, 2024. A meeting to adjourn the BOR due to revaluation will be held on April 28th, 2024. The clerk and chair attended a BOR training on March 16th, and are both qualified to stand the BOR this year. Some tools have been purchased for the shop. The chair will continue to work with Ron to purchase additional tools needed to better help our workers. The Spring Primary Election went well. We had great voter turnout, and the clerk trained new poll workers. New Business: The annual meeting will be held on April 16th, 2024 at 7:30. The CT form is due next month. The clerk asks that the entire board come 1 hour early to the May meeting so they can help the treasurer and clerk prepare this form. A motion was made by Ned to add Dennis Lang as a town employee. Seconded by Hank. Motion carried. A motion was made by Ned to add Karen Wallner and Ned Ruesch to the list of poll workers. Seconded by Joel. Motion carried. We will be removing 2 other workers as the clerk tries to tighten up election procedures. Standing Agenda Items: Yellowstone between Blueberry and Mayflower needs to be addressed. Nick Nigh gave a presentation from the fire department. A motion was made by Joel to pay bills. Seconded by Hank. Motion approved. The next meeting will be held May 5, 2024 at 6:30pm. A motion was made by Ned to adjourn. Seconded by Hank. Meeting adjourned.
