TOWN OF SIGEL BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS MINUTES DATE: Monday, February 23, 2026 TIME: 6:00 pm PLACE: Town of Sigel Town Hall MEMBERS PRESENT: Mike Schwake (Chair), John Peckham (Secretary), Cindy Pelot, Jason Zellner, and Larry Scholze CITIZENS PRESENT: Steve Altmann, Kevin Tritz, Dan Tritz, Sandy Nieman, and Tom Nieman 1. Chair Mike Schwake called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. 2. Declaration of Quorum - Schwake declared that a quorum of the Board was present. 3. Secretary to read the appeal – Peckham read the Zoning Board Announcement of Proceedings, followed by the written appeal to the Board. 4. Appeal to Board of Adjustments and Appeals – Kevin Tritz was sworn in and gave his testimony to the Board. Dan Tritz was sworn in and gave his testimony to the Board. 5. Public Comments - There were no public comments. 6. Board of Adjustment & Appeals Discussion - The Board discussed the appeal and asked questions of the appellant. 7. Board of Adjustment & Appeals Vote – A voice vote was taken as to whether the appeal should be granted. The appeal was granted with a unanimous vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. 8.
