2025 SEPTEMBER SPECIAL BOARD MEETING — Minutes

TOWN OF SIGEL TOWN BOARD SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES DATE: September 3, 2025 PLACE: Town of Sigel Town Hall – 3678 Town Hall Rd – Wisconsin Rapids WI TIME: Immediately Following the Regular September Board Meeting Board Member Present: Chairman Dick Goodwin, Supervisor Tom Nieman and Supervisor Dennis Larson. 1. Chairman Goodwin called the meeting to order at 8:05PM. 2. Goodwin made a motion to go into closed session, seconded by Larson to consider offers to purchase Town land located on Town Hall Rd. 3. Goodwin made a motion to come out of closed session, with a second from Nieman 4. Two offers were then presented from Moccasin Creek Realty to residents who remained after the closed session. One offer was a cash offer of $50,000. The other offer was for $43,000. Larson made a motion to accept the $50,000 cash offer with Nieman seconding. Motion passed. Moccasin Creek will handle paperwork for this sale. 5. There was some discussion from residents. 6. Larson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:20PM, seconded by Nieman.
