TOWN OF SIGEL BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING MINUTES DATE: June 5, 2024 TIME: Immediately preceding regular Town Board Meeting -6:45PM PLACE: Town of Sigel Town Hall BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Dick Goodwin and Supervisors Tom Nieman and Larry Pelot 1. Call Board of Review Meeting to Order – The Board of Review Meeting was called to order by Chairman Dick Goodwin at 6:30PM 2. Announce certified members’ affidavits – Members with current affidavits are Supervisor Tom Nieman and Clerk Sandra Nieman. Current affidavits are on file with WI Dept of Revenue. 3. Nominate Chairman of the Board of Review – Pelot nominated Goodwin as Chairman of the Board of Review, seconded by Nieman – passed with unanimous consent. 4. Nominate Co-Chairman of the Board of Review – Pelot nominated Nieman as Co-Chairman of the Board of Review, seconded by Goodwin – passed with unanimous consent. 5. Nominate Clerk of the Board of Review – Pelot nominated Sandra Nieman as Clerk of the Board of Review, seconded by Nieman – passed with unanimous consent. 6. Set date for Board of Review/Adjourn to a Later Date – The tax assessment roll is not ready at this time. Date for the Board of Review may be set for September 23, 2024. Open Book may be set for September 16, 2024. Those dates and times will be determined at a later date by BA Pauls, Town Assessor. Motion made by Goodwin, seconded by Pelot to adjourn Board of Review to a later date when the tax assessment roll is ready. Passed with unanimous consent. 7. Adjoun – Pelot made a motion to adjourn this meeting, seconded by Nieman at 6:35pm. Motion carried.
