One was around an existing building on the property and the other parcel would be for a new home. After discussion with Hayden and committee the maps were not approved due to not meeting the minimum lot size for A-1 district. Committee reviewed a conditional use permit from Hayden to change the use of an existing building to a physical therapy office. After discussion committee recommended approval as the use was within the A-1 district conditional uses as professional office. Board discussed how long the conditional use permit is good for and per ordinances must be renewed annually. If there are future developments with this property the permit would be void as possible rezone would make the permit not needed. Motion Evenson second Guillemot to approve the contional use permit for Hayden Beigel to operate a physical thereapy office within an existing building. Jamie Biegel recused. Motion carried. Board discussed the conditional use permit for Marlene Dempze. After discussion, the Board determined that the permit null because there is currently no building present on the parcel. If the parcel shown in the certified survey map were rezoned, the proposed current use would fall within the approved zoning. A conditional use permit would only be required if and when the home begins being used as a short term rental. Hayden requested a refund on this conditional use permit if the board is not going to act upon the permit. Application states no refunds however Evenson referred to Legislative, Ordinance and Zoning committee to discuss. Committee members are going to attend training in October.
