Kahoun Road regarding the use of the village road right of way by another
resident. Tim explained he spoke with the resident that has added raised
gardens within the Village road right of way. Tim offered both parties an
opportunity to speak on the topic. Bob and Val Patterson stated they received
permission about 3 years ago to use the portion of Johnson Parkway to access
their shed. Ryan Johnson spoke about recently some brush had been cut down
and raised gardens added that are close to his property and within the road right
of way that prompted his calls to the Village. Residents will work with one
another to resolve and Tim will follow up to see if a resolution was reached.
3. Discussion on ordinance violation enforcement procedures – Samantha
spoke about needing a way to enforce our ordinance violations with a current
need related to private well permits. Samantha explained staff have been
working with residents that have private wells to issue permits and there are
requirements that residents must meet before we can issue said permit.
Explained currently we don’t have a court system or citations we can issue which
makes it hard to enforce these types of requirements. Josh Volz spoke about
how Wisconsin Rapids worked with WWL&C to enforce these permits and
committee wanted Samantha to get more information.

Municode recodification project – Committee members joined the zoom link
with project attorney to review first draft of ordinances after the legal review was
completed. Went through each chapter and reviewed notes staff had made. No
major content changes are taking place with this project.
