MEMBERS: Dan Muleski, Chairperson; Mark Honkomp, Tammy Steward via phone. Also present, Clerk Samantha Daugherty
Call to Order: Muleski called the meeting to order at 1:00pm.
Discussion and possible action on amendment to ordinance 19.03 REGULATION AND LICENSING OF DOGS AND CATS. The committee reviewed neighboring communities ordinances Town of Grand Rapids, Village of Rudolph and City of Wisconsin Rapids. Daugherty explained this is for residents that don’t run a kennel but have more dogs than the Biron ordinances allow. Discussed having a “multi-dog” permit or license. Discussed conditions before permit/license was issued. Discussed that we would need to review complaints from neighbors and humane society intake documents before issuing the permit/license. Discussed needing the permit to have a space to acknowledge if there are complaints the license could be pulled. Muleski stated he will review more and provide a summary to the board. No action was taken to amend the ordinance at this meeting and will continue discussion at board level.
