Hess (remote), E. Hummel, E. Saylor and Ben Martinson Absent: B. Mancl Citizens: Jason Gruszynski, Scott Stewart, Pat Pavloski, and Chief Lease Subjects Discussed, Action Taken, and Board Action Required: 1. Call to order: Meeting called to order at 5:33 p.m. 2. Roll Call: As noted above. 3. Approve the Agenda: MOTION (/Saylor/Hummel) to approve the agenda. All ayes. 4. Approve the minutes of previous month’s meeting: MOTION (Hummel/Saylor) to approve minutes of the July 23, 2025 meeting. All ayes. 5. Public comments on agenda items: Approved moving the sea wall and enhanced wake discussion up on the agenda after the Chairman’s comments.. 6. Committee Chairman’s comments: 7. Update on the sea wall in the Nepco Lake Development are Sunset Point.: The Village attorney is working on a letter to send to area residents and HOA members. Hope to have the letter by mid-September. 8. Update on enhanced wake.: Will discuss at the Board meeting possibly setting a Committee of the Whole meeting to discuss the possible creation of an Enhanced Wake Ordinance. Contact was made with the Town of Saratoga and they have agreed to add an enhanced wake presentation to their meeting in September. 9. Update on DMI: There will be a site visit with MRD Group (the company working on the WR mill site) next week. 10. Discussion and possible motion on updating Village Ordinance #1 – General Government: MOTION (Saylor/Hummel) to approve updates to Village Ordinance Chapter 1 – General Government. Motion passed. All ayes. 11. Discussion and possible motion to approve Village Ordinance #5 – Fire Department: MOTION (Hummel/Hess) to approve proposed changes to Ordinance #5 – Fire Department. Motion passed. All ayes. 12. Review Chapter 2 of the Village Ordinances: Discuss proposed updates. Will have on next month’s agenda for approval. 13. Discuss old business: 14.
