Meeting Minutes

Regular meeting of the Village Board- November 6, 2023 The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Tyson Weiler. Present: Lingford, Curtin, Anderson, Bulin, Marten, Stoflet, Weiler, Marth and Schmutzer. Absent: Atty. Dietrich. Minutes- Motion Marten/Schmutzer to approve the minutes from 11/6/23 as listed. Carried. Reports- Fire Department included in packet. Police- not available Auburndale Park Association- Santa in the Park had 140-150 children attend. Shelter House- balance $9,227.52 Playground design plan- Tyler Freund was not present. Donations are currently around $100,000. Most of the excavation costs will be covered by local companies. This will be on the next agenda. Work list- Christmas lights were hung, sewer impellers were installed, sewer pond discharge went well, equipment will be pressure washed prior to storage. Alert system- GoGov will not send out post cards. We would need to sign up with them before they would promote the site. This will be on the next agenda. Fee schedule- will be on the next agenda. Technology at hall- will be on the next agenda. Repair sewer line by elementary school- we are looking into options and costs. This will be on a future agenda. Town/Village agreement- will be on a future agenda. Election inspectors- Motion Marten/Bulin to appoint election inspectors from 1-1-24 through 12-31-25 as follows: Theresa Anderson, Diane Anderson, Judy Marth, Beth Clouse, Norma Sabel, Delores Lang, Margaret Lingford, Karen Dorshorst. Carried. Hawkins contract- Motion Anderson/Marten to approve the contract with Hawkins Ash to complete the Financial C report for $5450.00. Carried. Expenses- Motion Stoflet/Marten to approve the expenses as listed and read. Carried. Financial report- Motion Schmutzer/Marten to approve the financial report as listed. Carried.
