Meeting Minutes

Regular meeting of the Village Board- August 2, 2021 The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by David Haupt. Present: Lingford, Marten, Anderson, Stoflet, Schmutzer, Curtin, Marth and Haupt. Absent: Atty. Dietrich and Yeske. Motion Marten/Curtin to approve the minutes from 7-12-21 as listed. Carried. Police officer report- Edgard Gonzalez was present. He wrote parking warnings, has been monitoring the cemetery. He has issued warnings for grass issues. Edgar has followed up on dogs running into the street on Apache Avenue. He also ran some background checks. Connor Street- no action, will be on the next agenda. CIP 5-year plan-Stoflet has contacted a vendor to get a quote for the water drainage issue in the park. She doesn’t have the quote yet. Marten talked to the owner of the land next to the cemetery. The owner is not sure he wants to sell. Spatz will check with the vendor to find out the estimated delivery time for a generator. Gonzalez will get some quotes for polices cars. This will be on the next agenda. Codification of ordinances- this will be on the next agenda. Park ball fields- tabled until next month. Operator licenses- Motion Stoflet/Martin to approve the operator licenses for Zachary Mys and Summer Johns. Carried. Expenses- Motion Anderson/Schmutzer to approve the expenses as read. Carried. Financial report- not available. The next meeting will be September 13th due to the holiday. Motion Marten/Stoflet to adjourn at 8:21 p.m. Carried. Lynn Lingford, clerk
