Meeting Minutes

Regular meeting of the Village Board- September 14, 2020 The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by David Haupt. Present: Lingford, Marten, Schmutzer, Stoflet, Anderson, Marth, Curtin and Haupt. Absent: Yeske and Atty. Dietrich. Motion Marten/Anderson to approve the minutes from 8-3-20 as listed. Carried. Police officer report- Edgar Gonzalez was present. The burnt trailer has been removed. Edgar has issued grass/weed ordinance warnings. He has also issued parking warnings. Dog barking complaints have been addressed. The siren was fixed on the police car. Connor Street- the punch list items have been completed. The final pay request will be on the next agenda. TIF District #1- this ends June 5, 2021. It can be extended with a resolution and joint review board meeting. We may be able to use the sewer treatment facility changes for the project. The board would like to extend the TIF expenditure period. MSA would prepare the documents. Motion Stoflet/Marten to authorize MSA to prepare the documents. Carried. 50-50 road aid- Motion Schmutzer/Marten to participate in the 50-50 road aid program with Wood County for a cost of $5,000. Carried. Clean sweep recycling dumpster- we will get two dumpsters- one for electronics from Advanced Disposal and one from Shaw’s for appliances. This will be Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from noon to 6:00 p.m. Operator licenses- Motion Stoflet/Schmutzer to approve the operator licenses for Tanya Ponshock and Jynelle Zopfi. Carried. Expenses- Motion Anderson/Marten to approve the expenses as listed. Carried. Financial report- Motion Schmutzer/Curtin to approve the financial report as listed. Carried. Motion Marten/Stoflet to adjourn at 7:55 p.m. Carried. Lynn Lingford, clerk
