1 Village of Rosholt Special Board Meeting Minutes Monday May 18, 2026 @ Village Hall (101 S Main St) Start time is immediately following Special Alcohol Meeting APPROVED June 8, 2026 Call to Order: By President, R. Kurszewski at 5:15 PM Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call: R. Kurszewski, E. Hartvig, T. Firkus, J. Malek, R. Mueller Public Present: M. Omernik, D. Reit, A. Simonis, R. Kruzicki NO PUBLIC REQUESTS FOR CONSIDERATION • Review, Discuss & Approve Rosholt Century Hill Association Lease Agreement: Board reviewed and discussed the Lease Agreement that was drawn up and submitted by M. Omernik for Rosholt Century Hill Association. This lease agreement mirrors each lease agreement that the village shares with the various committee’s up on the Fair Park Hill. Motion: E. Hartvig/ R. Mueller to Approve of the Lease Agreement that M. Omernik presented and have the Village President & Village Clerk sign the lease agreement with Rosholt Century Hill Association for a 3-year term with Annual renewal of lease agreement in November. Roll Call Vote, All in favor, None Opposed, Motion Carried. • Review, Discuss & Approve Fair Association Lease Agreement: Board discussed and reviewed the lease agreement. Motion: T. Firkus/ E. Hartvig to Approve of the Rosholt Fair Park lease Agreement with the amendments made of adding in Section 1 letter C; and a map labeled Exhibit C to attach for premise description. These edits pertain to the adding of (The Community Event Center & Venue) to the Fair Park Lease Agreement. Roll Call Vote, All in favor, None Opposed, Motion Carried. • Discuss leveling Pavement (Forest St up to the Hamburger Stand) up the Fair Park Hill for the new Building: Rosholt Century Hill Association requested to level the pavement up at the Fair Park in front of where the new building will be, due to the road being higher than The Community Event Center & Venue building. Motion: T. Firkus/ R. Mueller to Approve of Rosholt Century Hill Association to lower the elevation of the road from the bottom of the Fair Park Hill going up to the Hamburger Stand. All costs related to the removal and repair to the road will be paid for by Rosholt Century Hill Association. Roll Call Vote, All in favor, None Opposed, Motion Carried. • Review, Discuss Street Repair Bids from Scotts & American Asphalt: Village Maintenance received bids for various streets within the village. The roads that were discussed were Fredrickson, Church, State, River & Maple. Motion: R. Kurszewski/ E. Hartvig to create a spread sheet of all village streets with dates on it as to when any type of work was done on each street. Spread sheet to be brought to the June 8, 2026 Board Meeting for discussion and review. Possible decision on road repairs to be discussed. • Discuss input of Sewer Lines in Second St Development: Point of Beginning submitted Sanitary Sewer Plans along with Standard Sanitary Sewer Specifications for sewer lines to go in. Since the Village does not have Sanitary Sewer Line Specifications, Point of Beginning needs a letter of Approval from the Village Board for the Plans and Standard Sanitary Sewer line specifications. 2 Motion: R. Kurszewski / E. Hartvig to Approve of the Sanitary Sewer Plans & the Standard Sanitary Sewer Line Specifications that were submitted by Point of Beginning. Clerk to write the letter of Approval of the Sanitary Sewer Plans & Sanitary Sewer Line Specifications. Point of Beginning will submit this letter to the State for Approval. Village President will sign this letter of Approval before Clerk submits letter to Point of Beginning. *T. Firkus abstained from all discussion and voting on this agenda item.
