Village of Whiting Personnel Committee Minutes Village of Whiting Municipal Center 3600 Water St., Stevens Point WI 54481is Friday, January 23, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. 1. Roll Call: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Kurt Glenzer at 10:0 a.m. Present were committee members Ben Lasecki and Karen Curtis. Also, present was Village President Bill Taugner and resident Dean Curtis. 2. Approval of January 16, 2026 meeting minutes: Motion by Ben Lasecki, seconded by Karen Curtis to approve minutes of the January 16, 2026 Personnel Committee meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 3. Discussion and possible action regarding reform of Village of Whiting Employee Handbook: Reviewed and completed changes to our Draft Employee Handbook copy. Motion made by Karen Curtis, seconded by Ben Lasecki that the Village Board approves the revised Village of Whiting Employee Handbook. Motion carried unanimously. Motion made by Karen Curtis, seconded by Ben Lasecki to request the Village Board instruct the Ordinance Committee to remove all existing language in section 10 of the Village of Whiting Personnel policy and replace with the statement “Refer to the Village of Whiting Employee Handbook”.
