VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday 12.12.23 6pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES Meeting was called to order by President Judah Haas Present at the meeting were: President Judah Haas , Trustee Walter Leppen and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. Citizens Present: Mark Pearson, Kim Krupka, Jesse Malinowski, Rebecca Roberts, Jerald Lintzmaier, Lindsey Haas, Meeting Called to Order by Haas M/S, Leppen/Haas move to approve November 16th board minutes, all in favor, motion carried. Treasurer’s report submitted by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. M/S, Leppen/ Haas, move to pay the bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer, Daniel Bootz. Correspondence – Public Statements – Mark P & Kim K asked about petition sent out by water committee Discussion Items: Village Hall Construction – Finishing exterior and interior is occurring over the next months. Card access will be put on the exterior back door to provide access to public sink. 2024 Spring Caucus – Caucus was scheduled for January 9 th at 5:30pm. Board meeting following Ruby Coffee Sign – Jerald L presented the mural proposed to put on the side of the Ruby Café building. 2024 Election Inspectors – Haas/Leppen – Moved to approve 2024 Election Inspectors, all in favor, motion carri ed 3rd St and Oak Construction Variance - Planning Commission set to hear variance on 12/13/23. 2024 Haas/Leppen – Moved to set village dog license fee of $2, all in favor, motion carried Previous Business and Possible Decisions Information – 1. GCAC Update – No updates 2. Groundwater Committee – No updates 3. Park Committee – Park committee is starting on 12/14/23 at 6pm. Fund raising sign was posted at the park. 4. Fire Commission – Commission is updating municipal agreement for the participating communitie s. 5. Planning Committee – Meeting on 12/13/23 7:30pm to discuss variance request for property on 3 rd and Oak St. 7. LRIP – No updates Adjourned 7:30 pm.
