VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday 11.9.22 6pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES Meeting was called to order by President Josh Stolzenburg Present at the meeting were: President Josh Stolzenburg, Trustee Mark Brueggeman, Trustee Walter Leppen and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. Citizens present: Lulu Bootz, Mark Pearson, Linda Raddatz, Layne Wierzba Meeting was called to order. M/S, Leppen/Brueggeman move to approve the October Board minutes, all in favor, motion carried. Treasurer’s report submitted by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. M/S, Leppen/Brueggeman move to pay the bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer, Daniel Bootz, all in favor, motion carried. Correspondence was reviewed Public Questions and Comments Discussion Items: Village Hall Referendum Stolzenburg - Wally L, Mark P and Judah H have been developing an alternative plan for renovations of the current hall or simplifying the fire hall renovation. Group has been meeting with builders to come up with ideas on how to meet the village needs by utilizing either the currant hall or Fire Hall. Referendum language is due December 13th for February 2023 election. Special Board meeting was scheduled for December 6 th at 6pm to approve referendum language and Type C notice. Voting Machine Agreement Agreement with Portage County was signed. Board had approved at October 2022 board meeting. Village Hall Roof Repairs Leppen – Had looked at the roof and found several cracks that might be causing the leak and he will be working on trying to repair it. Information – 1. GCAC Update – No Updates 2. Groundwater Committee – Meeting 11/10/22 3. Park Committee – Park Commission will be restarting in the next month. 4. Fire Commission – No Updates 5. Planning Committee – No updates Adjourned 6:26pm.
