March 12, 2025 Town Board Meeting - APPROVED Board Members Present: Roger Skrzeczkoski Sr, Leif Erickson, Wayne Trelka, Sue Stroik, Sue Skrzeczkoski Others Present: Stacy Martin, Bonnie Fredrickson, Mark Fredrickson, Roger Dobbs, Karen Dobbs, Jason Gaboda, Dave Erickson, Les Metzler, Peter Albert, Bill Kiggins, Gary Eagan, Margie Wojcik, Mary Erickson, John Becker, Roy Skrzeczkoski The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski to adjourn to closes session, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes, Section 19.85(1)(c) considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility and to consider employment matter. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Roll Call Vote, Chairperson Skrzeczkoski, Aye, Supervisor Trelka, Aye; Supervisor Erickson, Aye. 0 nays. Motion carried. Closed session started at 6:05pm Review of Road Supervisor position occurred. Motion by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski to adjourn back into open session. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Roll Call Vote - Chairperson Skrzeczkoski, Aye; Supervisor Trelka, Aye; Supervisor Erickson, Aye. 0 nays. Motion carried. Board went back into open session at 6:15pm Motion by Supervisor Erickson to increase Road Supervisor wage position, effective March 31, 2025 to $27.00/hr. Seconded by Supervisor Trelka. Motion carried -2 ayes, 1 abstained, Chairperson Skrzeczkoski, 0 nays. Minutes from the February 12, 2025 meeting were read. Motion by Supervisor Erickson to approve the minutes as read. Seconded by Supervisor Trelka. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Chairperson Skrzeczkoski moved to place the Treasurer’s report on file. Opening of Road Material and Excavating Bids. ¾ “ Crushed Blue Rock – Motion by Supervisor Trelka to accept the bid of Worden Enterprises at $12.45/ton delivered to the Town Roads. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried by 3 ayes, 0 nays. ¾ “ Crushed Blue Rock – Motion by Supervisor Trelka to accept the bid of Peter Albert LLC at $11.79/ton delivered to the Town Hall Stockpile. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried by 3 ayes, 0 nays. ½” Crushed Blue Rock – Motion by Supervisor Trelka to accept the bid of EARTH at $13.60/ton delivered to the Town Hall Stockpile and $14.80/ton delivered to the Town roads. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion Carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Crushed Granite – Motion by Supervisor Trelka to accept the bid of Kafka Road Materials at $10.34/yd delivered to the Town Hall Stockpile. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Crushed Granite – Motion by Supervisor Trelka to accept the bid of Worden Enterprises at $10.43/yd delivered to the Town Roads. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Excavating – Motion by Supervisor Trelka to accept the bid of Badger State Screening for the submitted rates for Excavating Cost $145/hr, w/operator, Additional Labor Cost $95/hr, Additional Misc Charges Skidsteer, $125/hr w/operator, Dozer, $160/hr, w/operator, Grader $150/hr w/operator, Quad Axle Dump Truck $115/hr. Seconded by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Opening of Sealed Bids – Refrigerator and Fuel Tank – 1 bid was received from Roy Skrzeczkoski for the Fuel Tank at $175.00. No bids were received for the refrigerator. The refrigerator is being offered as a First Come First Served for free. Motion by Supervisor Erickson to approve a credit card for the Roy Skrzeczkoski with a limit of $500.00 and over $500.00 will require approval from a Board member. Seconded by Supervisor Trelka. Motion Carried, 2 ayes, 1 abstained – Chairperson Skrzeczkoski, 0 nays. Motion by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski to pay bills and adjourn. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays.
