Board Meeting December — Minutes

December 11, 2024 Town Board Monthly Meeting - APPROVED Board Members Present: Roger Skrzeczkoski Sr, Leif Erickson, Wayne Trelka, Sue Stroik, Sue Skrzeczkoski, Others Present: Mary Erickson, John Becker, Les & Kathy Metzler, Dave Erickson, Roy Skrzeczkoski, Roger & Karen Dobbs, Bill Kiggins The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Minutes from the November 13,2024 Budget/Tax Levy meeting were read. Motion by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski to accept the minutes as read. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Minutes from the November 13, 2024 Monthly Town meeting were read. Motion by Supervisor Trelka to approve the minutes as read. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried, 3 ayes, 0 nays. Chairperson Skrzeczkoski moved to place the Treasurer’s report on file. Motion by Supervisor Erickson to approve the Certified Survey Map (CSM) of parcels 016-25-0731-10.02 and 016-25-0731-10.13, site address of 3210 Oak Hill Road. Seconded by Supervisor Trelka. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Correspondence from Planning & Zoning were read Discussion regarding the cost of the security cameras for the drop-off. Chairperson Skrzeczkoski spoke to some retailers about the best possible route, which would be using the existing type which is a wired type. Those systems run over the $500, which was approved by the Board last month. After further discussion, an additional dumpster from Waste Management will be ordered. Discussion regarding the initial estimate for Mayflower Rd, that was provided by the County vs the Final Cost. Sealed Bids were opened. Motion by Supervisor Trelka to accept the sealed bid of $20 for the Miller Welder, submitted by Dave Erickson. Motion carried, 2 ayes, 1 abstained – Supervisor Erickson, 0 nays. Motion by Supervisor Trelka to accept the sealed bid of $5.00 for the 15 gallon Oil Drum with pump submitted by Roger Skrzeczkoski. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried, 2 ayes, 1 abstained – Chairperson Skrzeczkoski, 0 nays. General discussion regarding the results from the Dept of Safety & Professional Services (DSPS) and the progress of rectifying the violations that were noted during our inspection. Tax bills have been mailed, residents should have received them or will receive shortly. Motion by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski to pay bills and adjourn. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson.
