Board Meeting July — Minutes

July 13, 2024 Town Board Meeting – Full-time Position - APPROVED Board Members Present: Roger Skrzeczkoski Sr, Leif Erickson, Wayne Trelka, Sue Skrzeczkoski, Sue Stroik Others Present: Jeff Stroik The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Discussion regarding the open position of full-time employee and potential starting wage. Motion by Supervisor Erickson to post the full-time position with a starting wage of $25+ per hour, final wage to be determined by qualifications. Seconded by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Application received for part-time grader operator submitted by Jeff Stroik. Discussion regarding the part-time position, wage of operating grader vs utilizing non-equipment, i.e. shop work, repair of equipment. Motion by Supervisor Erickson to hire a part-time equipment operator at the rate of $27.00/hour. Seconded by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski. Motion carried 3 ayes. 0 nays. Motion by Supervisor Trelka to have the part-time grader operator, when performing non-equipment operations a wage of $25.00/hour. Seconded by Supervisor Erickson. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays. Motion by Chairperson Skrzeczkoski to hire Jeff Stroik for part-time worker with an effective date of July 15th. Seconded by Supervisor Trelka. Motion carried 3 ayes, 0 nays.
