Town of Christiana Town Board Meeting July 14, 2025, 6:30 p.m. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Meeting of the Town of Christiana Board will occur on July 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Christiana Town Hall, 773 Koshkonong Road, Cambridge, WI 53523. 1. ORDER OF BUSINESS a. Call meeting to Order b. Pledge of Allegiance c. Roll Call d. Confirmation of Meeting Notice/Posting e. Public Works Director’s Report f. Comprehensive Plan Committee Update 2. PUBLIC COMMENT – Please fill out a public comment form and return to the Clerk or Chair before the start of the meeting. Note: Under ‘Public Comment’, the public may comment on any topic. Public comment is not required by law; however, state ‘Open Meeting Law’ does not permit the board to take any action on matters not listed on the agenda. Comments may be limited to a time-limit by the board. 3. NEW BUSINESS a. Discussion and possible action regarding new computers; one in the Clerk’s office and the other in the Public Works office. Jake Wikie the towns IT and security has provided a quote of $2,000 for the purchase of two computers, the data migration from the old to the new computers, the set up of usernames, Office software, email and the encryption of data stored on the drive. b. Discussion and possible action regarding Operator’s License applications for Chad Gray, Andy Watson, Jessica Scott, Jeffrey Hagy, Alyza Pupp and Dawn Hudson. c. Discussion around the truck traffic that does not use the prescribed route for solar construction and how a contract with Dane County Sheriff’s Department may benefit the township. d. Discussion on the Plan Commission’s decision on a transfer of development rights (TDR) request as it relates to deed restrictions and agriculture easements. e. Review and possible approval of Vouchers f. Review and possible approval of June Financial Summary g. Review and possible approval of June Bank Statements and Reconciliations h. Review and possible approval of June 09, 2025, meeting minutes. 4. CLERK COMMUNICATION a. Very pleased residents called to thank all the guys who worked taking down and cleaning up the tree on Washington Road. In their words, “They did an absolutely excellent job.” b. The DNR has granted a resident on Clearview Road a license to rehab raptors. She worked as a volunteer for eight years with an organization in Madison who rehabs birds of prey and now, she and her husband have converted a barn to be able do the same work at their home. 5. ADJOURNMENT Notes: A quorum of the Town of Christiana Plan Commission may be in attendance to gather information relevant to their responsibilities.
