Town of Christiana Town Board Meeting – Closed Session Notice - Amended June 9, 2025 6:30 p.m. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Meeting of the Town of Christiana Board will occur on June 9, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Christiana Town Hall, 773 Koshkonong Road, Cambridge, WI 53523. The Town Board will convene into closed session at said time and place and then reconvene into open session. 1. ORDER OF BUSINESS a. Call meeting to Order b. Pledge of Allegiance c. Roll Call d. Confirmation of Meeting Notice/Posting e. *Public Works Director’s Report f. *Fire Commission Report 2. NEW BUSINESS PART I a. Discussion and possible action regarding a request by Robert and Kim Riege to rezone parcels #0612-032-8315-0 and 0612-031-8745-0 to create one residential 2.5 acre lot off Clear View Road rezoned from FP-35 to RR-2 and one conservancy 7.6 acre lot rezoned from FP-35 to NR-C. Both lots to be sold to a third party. 3. CONVENE INTO CLOSED SESSION a. Consideration of moving into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. sec. 19.85(1)(g) Conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved, specifically, the litigation decision by the Court Appeals related to the Invenergy and Wisconsin Utilities’ Koshkonong Solar Project. 4. RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION a. Following closed session, the Town Board will reconvene in open session and may take such action on the matters discussed in closed session as the Town Board deems appropriate. 5. PUBLIC COMMENT – Please fill out a public comment form and return to the Clerk or Chair before the start of the meeting. Note: Under ‘Public Comment’, the public may comment on any topic. Public comment is not required by law; however, state ‘Open Meeting Law’ does not permit the board to take any action on matters not listed on the agenda. Comments may be limited to a time- limit by the board. 6. NEW BUSINESS PART II a. Discussion and possible action regarding driveway permit for Dale and Cindy Vethe. b. Discussion and possible action regarding approval to place on public auction the following three assets in public works: 1) 1993 Mack dump truck 2) 5’ Woods Mower (3 point) 3) Surge PTO Generator c. Discussion and possible action regarding the Treewerx proposal for tree removal on Washington Road and another on Church Road. d. Discussion and possible action regarding the Hill electric proposal for parts and installation of a generator connection box on the Town Hall building. e. Discussion and possible action regarding repairing, paving and installation of new culverts on Olia Rd. f. Review and possible approval of Vouchers g. Review and possible approval of May Financial Summary h. Review and possible approval of May Bank Statements and Reconciliations i. Review and possible approval of May 12, 2025, meeting minutes. 7. CLERK COMMUNICATION a. Steven and Susan Weinberger are on the Dane County Rezone Agenda for June 24, 2025, but the Town has not acted yet. The Weinbergers have submitted the written documentation from Mrs. Skaar and Invenergy requested by the Plan Commission; therefore, their rezone will be on the June 24, 2025 Plan Commission meeting agenda. 8. ADJOURNMENT Notes: A quorum of the Town of Christiana Plan Commission may be in attendance to gather information relevant to their responsibilities. The Plan Commission will not consider any matter or take any action at this meeting.
