landscaping, park signage, pathways and additional amenities to follow in subsequent years as
donation installments are received.

Community Center Report – June & July 2026
Summer kicks off one of the busiest and joyful seasons at the Oconomowoc Community
Center. Families, friends, businesses, and community members utilized every rental space.
Throughout June and July, we hosted three Kwik Trip business meetings, a Target distribution
meeting, and a large company picnic for the BDO corporation. In addition to these
professional gatherings, the Community Center was filled with celebrations of life's special
moments with seven bridal showers, two baby showers, eight graduation parties, two birthday
parties, and four weddings (see photos below). The month also included a wedding brunch,
giving newlyweds and their loved ones another opportunity to celebrate together.
June and July were also a time for honoring and remembering loved ones. Three Celebrations
of Life were held at the Community Center, offering families a beautiful setting to gather,
reflect, and share memories. One particularly inspiring event recognized a community
member's milestone of reaching 100 days after leukemia treatment, bringing family and
friends together to celebrate resilience, hope, and recovery.
The variety of events held throughout June and July highlight how important this season is for
celebrations and community gatherings. We are grateful to everyone who chose our facility to
host their special occasions and look forward to welcoming even more celebrations in the
months ahead.
