MINUTES ANNUAL MEETING APRIL 21, 2015 6:00 P.M. Board members present: Viney, Berg, Nimmow, Stieren and Truitt. Staff present: Brenda Ayers, Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer; Ron Kurt, Public Works Lead and Kim Peterson, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer See attached list for others present. 1. Chairman Viney called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 3. Swearing in of new officers. Ayers swore Kevin Viney, Jeff Stieren and Steven Berg into office. 4. Approval of minutes from the 2014 annual meeting. Motion: Berg/Nimmow to approve the minutes from April 15, 2014. Motion carried. 5. Authorize the sale/disposal of the gazebo in Burke Conservancy Estates Park. Motion: Gary Richards/Jeff Stieren to authorize the sale of the gazebo in Burke Conservancy Estates Park. Motion carried. 6. Presentation of Financial Report/Budget Review. The 2014 Profit and Loss Budget vs. Actual report was provided to the Board and attendees. Viney noted that the Town is financially in good shape. 7. Highlights of 2014. Ayers prepared a report showing the accomplishments of the Board in 2014. 8. Fire Department Report. A written Annual Report was provided by Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire, Inc. The Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department responded to 1,003 calls in 2014 and 128 of those were in Burke. The Fire Inspector performed 444 inspections and reinspections in Burke during the year. 9. EMS Report. A written report was provided by Chief Linzmeier of Blooming Grove Fire Department. The total calls for service in 2014 was 560 and 303 of the calls were in Burke. 10. Building Inspector’s Report. A written report was provided. Of the 204 permits issued in 2014, 5 were for new single family homes. 11. Set next year's annual meeting date, time, and place. Next year’s meeting will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2016, 6:00 p.m. at the Tow n Hall. 12. Adjournment. Motion: Viney/Berg to adjourn. Motion carried.
