TOWN OF BRISTOL 7747 County Road N, Sun Prairie WI 53590 Special Town Board Meeting August 26, 2026, at 7:00 pm 1 ORDER OF BUSINESS a. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Willison. Board Members Present – Willison, Grove and Kvalo. Sign-in sheet on file in the Clerk’s office. b. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE – RECITED BUSINESS a. DISCUSS/CONSIDER RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE BELL CENTER-COLUMBIA-SUGAR CREEK- ILLINOIS/WISCONSIN STATE LINE (BECI) 765 kV COMPETITIVE TRANSMISSION PROJECT THROUGH THE TOWN OF BRISTOL The resolution was read by the Clerk. Chairman Willison asked if anyone present is against the town board passing this resolution and no objections were given. Motioned by Kvalo and seconded by Grove to approve the adoption of Resolution 2026-02 Opposing the Proposed Bell Center-Columbia-Sugar Creek- Illinois/Wisconsin State Line (BECI) 765-kV Competitive Transmission Project Through the Town of Bristol, Dane County, Wisconsin. All ayes, motion carried. b. DISCUSS/CONSIDER RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF BRISTOL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CREATION OF A COOPERATIVE PLAN WITH THE CITY OF SUN PRAIRIE The Clerk read the resolution which directs town staff to work with City of Sun Prairie to prepare a cooperative plan between the two municipalities. Motioned by Kvalo and seconded by Grove to approve the adoption of 2026-03 Resolution of the Town of Bristol to Participate in the Creation of a Cooperative Plan with the City of Sun Prairie.
