Parks Committee Meeting — Agenda

Town of Bristol Parks Committee Meeting Agenda Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 5:30 pm @ Bristol Town Hall Agenda Call to Order Review and approval of minutes from April 22, 2025 meeting. May park clean up review and discussion for improvement next year. Review proposal for shelter at Scottish Highlands park. We will need a motion and vote to approve it to send to the Town Board at their next meeting. The proposal is coming from the neighborhood. This neighborhood does not have a shelter. The other neighborhoods have a shelter nearby. Funding could possibly come from the money held by the town from developers. Tree grant discussion for next year. Discuss a request for flashing walk signs across Egre Rd. by the Heyday development. This may be complicated because the city of Sun Prairie owns the south side of the road. Park awareness week(s) is something we tried last year. Discuss options for this year. Lyman’s field discussion on fencing and Karen’s questions. Update on the scheduling software. Update on dog poop issue at Brooks Ridge Trail. Discuss committee positions and appoint leader(s). Public Comment/Questions items not on agenda Next meeting: Adjourn
