Notice of Public Budget Hearing & Special Meeting of the Electors TOWN OF BLACK EARTH PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the proposed 2026 budget of the Town of Black Earth will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, October 27, 2025, in the lower level of the MBE CPA Accounting building, located at 1116 Mills St., Black Earth, WI 53515. The budget summary is posted pursuant to WI §65.90(3)(a)1 of Wis. Statutes. SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS Notice is further given that immediately following the Public Hearing on the 2026 proposed budget, a Special Meeting of the Electors of the Town of Black Earth will be called pursuant to WI §60.12(1)(c) by the Town Board for the following purpose: 1. To adopt the 2025 total Town tax levy* to be collected in 2026 pursuant to WI § 60.10(1)(a) of Wis. Statutes.
