DRAFT Minutes – Annual Meeting, April 15, 2025 Town of Black Earth Minutes of Annual Meeting of the Electors Tuesday, April 15, 2025 1. Call to order. Town Chair Tom Turk called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Supervisor Joann Bennett and Clerk Stephanie Zwettler were present. Electors present at the meeting: Jason Handel. 2. Proof of Posting. An affidavit of posting was provided. 3. Minutes of the Prior Annual Meeting – April 16, 2024. Joann Bennett moved, and Tom Turk seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the Annual Meeting held on April 16, 2024, as published. Voice vote: 3 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstain. Motion carried. 4. Review Financial Report for the year ending Dec. 31, 2024. Clerk Stephanie Zwettler presented a financial report for the year ending December 31, 2024. Joann Bennett moved and Tom Turk seconded a motion to accept the financial report. Voice vote: 3 Yes, 0 No. Motion carried. a. Updates on proposed 2025 Road Projects. Town Chair Tom Turk reported the proposed 2025 road projects and scheduling. b. Cemetery Association Contribution. The Oakhill Cemetery Association Financial Report for 2024 was presented in print. Tom Turk moved and Joann Bennett seconded a motion to approve a contribution of $1000.00 for the Oak Hill Cemetery. Voice vote: 3 Yes, 0 No Motion carried. 5. Set date for next year’s Annual Meeting. Next year’s Annual Meeting will be held on April 21, 2026, at 6:30 PM. 6. Any other business lawfully presented per WI § 60.11. None presented. 7. Adjourn. Tom Turk moved and Joann Bennett seconded the motion to adjourn. Voice vote: 3 Yes, 0 No. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 6:36 PM.
