Town of Black Earth Minutes of Public Hearing Petition to Adopt a Solar Energy System Licensing Ordinance Thursday, April 10, 2025 1. Meeting call to Order. Town Chair Tom Turk called the public hearing to order at 6:32 PM. Supervisors Joann Bennett, Barb Parrell, Treasurer Brenda Kahl, and Clerk Stephanie Zwettler were present. Also in attendance: Steve Parrell, Jason Handel, Bill and Brenda Pulvermacher, Dan Meier, Jim Senzig, and Peter Wood. 2. Solar Energy System Licensing Ordinance – Chapter 16 proposed ordinance. The draft ordinance was reviewed. Brenda Pulvermacher inquired about the dismantling provisions of solar systems. Supervisor Joann Bennett explained the scope and limitations of the proposed ordinance. The Town Board also discussed the legal review process and the recommended changes that have been incorporated. There were no other comments. 3. Adjourn. Tom Turk moved and Barb Parrell seconded a motion to adjourn the hearing. Motion carried. The public hearing adjourned at 6:35 PM.
