TITLE: Town of Berry Special Board Meeting Minutes DATE: October 2, 2025 TIME: 7:00 – 8:05 p.m. PLACE: Town Hall, 9046 State Road 19, Mazomanie, WI 53560 POSTINGS: Town Hall and Town of Berry Website I. CALL TO ORDER – ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Board members present: Duane Haag, David Evert, Michael Statz, Derek Statz and Nichole Schwoerer. Also present Clerk, Brenda Kahl and Patrolman, Lucas Danz II. CONFIRMATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING LAWS The Clerk confirmed that the agenda was posted at the town hall and on the town website. III. DISCUSSION/ACTION RE: PLANNING AND ADOPTING THE 2026 BUDGET Motion Evert/M Statz to approve a $2.00 hourly raise for Brenda Kahl, which comes to $32.00 per hour. Motion carried. Vote 5-0 Motion Evert/M Statz to approve a $0.50 hourly raise for Lucas Danz. Motion carried. Vote 5-0 Motion D Statz/Schwoerer to approve a $1.00 hourly raise for Lucas Danz, which comes to $28.50 per hour. Motion carried. Vote 5-0 Motion Evert/D Statz to adopt the budget as proposed. Motion carried. Vote 5-0 IV. ADJOURN Motion Haag/Evert to adjourn until the next regular meeting or the call of the chair. Motion carried.
