Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to approve agenda as presented. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Approval of Minutes - January 15, 2025 - Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to approve minutes as presented. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Plan Commission Recommendation for Special Exception Request from Mike Foerster, 24-240, 1175 Chicago Dr -. 0.5 Acres R-1/R&R Outdoor Kitchen 24’ Diameter. Chairman Mike Kuss represented the Plan Commission Committee and recommended the board to Not Object. Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to Not Object to the special exception. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Road Construction Update for 2025 road projects bid requests - Chairman Arndt provided an update that the bid notices to be published and the public bid opening is scheduled for March 12, 2025 at the Town Hall at 3:00pm. Review Bids received 2/13/2025 for Cypress Ave - Little Roche-A-Cri Culvert - Review and general discussion of the four bids received including the MSA bid review information. After discussion and review a Motion by Jungbluth/Arndt to award the contract to Green Tech Enterprises, LLC for the amount of $208,486.00. Carried by unanimous voice vote Discussion of Equipment repairs and possible purchase - Chairman Arndt and Supervisor Skelton provided an update on the tractor repairs, grader hydraulic leak,boom mower attachment, and subcontracting cost to mow ditches. After the discussion, the board decided the most beneficial option is to purchase a boom mower attachment. Highway Maintenance Part-Time discussion and possible action. CDL Training - Chairman Arndt discussed the need for Part-Time road maintenance staff and to provide CDL training for potential candidates. Motion by Arndt/Jungbluth to post employment ads in local paper and Indeed for a PT position and to continue to obtain information for CDL training. Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to approve posting employment ad and present CDL training information at March 2025 regular board meeting. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Information provided by Clerk to adopt a resolution to participate in the LGIP Wisconsin investment funds to earn a higher rate for savings accounts. Motion by Arndt/Slelton to approve the resolution to participate. Carried by unanimous voice vote. 2025 Town Board Consent request from Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative for annual blanket utility permitting authority. After discussion a Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to approve ACEC annual blanket permit for 2025. Carried by unanimous voice vote. Town Board recommendation for Adams County Fire District the disposition of the Ladder Truck. - After discussion a Motion by Arndt/Skelton for the Towns representative Jungbluth to vote for the selling of the Ladder truck. WTA road meeting Citizen Concern Guest update - Danny Shelton, County Board Supervisor District 15 provided an update on the County Board activities. Set next meeting date and agenda items - March 19, 2025 Treasurer’s Report & Payment of Bills - Motion by Jungbluth/Skelton to approve and file the treasurer's report and pay the bills.
