TOWN OF LEOLA Dave Roberts, Chairman 715-213-9677 Greg Sager, Supervisor 715-323-3254; Bruce Duellman 414-640-6899 Town website at www.townofleolawi.com TOWN BOARD MEETING Town Hall, 170 Apache Lane Wednesday March 18th, 2026 At 6:00pm Minutes Call to order at 6:05 PM Pledge of Allegiance Approve minutes of February 18th, 2026: Motion by Bruce Duellman to approve minutes of February 18th, 2026, minutes. Greg Sager seconded the motion. Motion to Pay the bills: Greg Sager motion to pay the bills. Bruce Duellman seconded the motion. Citizen input: Peggy Heuer would like to request we do not pay per diem for the road grading because the grader is guaranteed time per season. Chairman Dave Roberts stated that they work 14 hours average and 15 miles roads that are graded but once 6th Avenue is completed the will be less 3 miles. Peggy Heuer also asked if there were stakes on the 6th Avenue where they were planning on digging up to eliminate the hump in the road. Chairman Dave Roberts was not sure who put the stakes up but assumed that it was Synder and associates the engineer company that did it. Peggy also made a note that they removed the Beaver dam and that the Tv was remove. New Business: Discussion with possible action-Open Bids for the road grading. Chairman Dave Roberts stated we received 3 bids. Badger Excavators Summary: Year 1-2026 $204.00 per hour, Year 2-2027 $212.00, Year 3-2028 $220.00. No Mobilization. Fuel surcharge. Lemke Trucking and Excavating summary Min Mobilization of $700.00 Grading $200.00. Own LLC Year 1-2026 $145 12 hours guaranteed each month for 6 months. Year 2-2027 $155.00 12 hours guaranteed each month for 6 months. Year 3-2028 $165.00 12 hours guaranteed each month for 6 months. Boards decision and vote: Bruce Duellman made a motion to approve Own LLC bid for the road grading. Greg Sager seconded the motion. Chairman David Roberts call for a vote all in favor for the bid for Own LLC count 3 in favor 0 against. Discussion with possible action- Change the dates for the Open Book and Board of review. Chairman Dave Robert stated that per an email to the clerk we need to change the date for Open Book from April 16th, 2026, to April 20th, 2026, and Board of review from April 23rd, 2026, to April 27th ,2026. Clerk Skeeter Fahser informed the board that in April we will have 2 dates that the board will need to be present. April 14th regular board meeting and Board of review April 27th, 2026. Bruce Duellman makes the motion to approve date changes for Open Book and Board of review.
