TOWN OF ROYALTON Caucus Saturday January 11, 2025 At the Town Hall 2:00 pm E6132 State Hwy 54 New London This Caucus has been posted at the Town Hall; E5406 N Shore Rd; St Hwy 22/110 posting places. 1. CALL CAUCUS TO ORDER: Caucus called to order by Chair Togstad at 2:00 pm and read the opening statement. 2. OPENING STATEMENT BY CHAIRMAN: This meeting and all other meetings of the Town Board are open to the public. Proper notice has been posted and given to the press in accordance with WI Statutes so that the townspeople may be aware of the time, place, and agenda of this meeting. This is the Town Caucus for the nominations of Town Offices for the April 1, 2025 election. The offices include – Chairman, Supervisor #1, Supervisor #2, Clerk, Treasurer Deb Buchholz and Lori Rodencal were recommended to be counters if needed to count votes. Approved. Motion by Lori Rodencal, second by Pat Craig to nominate Gerald Roen to Chair the Caucus. Motion Carried. Caucus Chair Roen called for nominations for Town Chair. Motion by Marlyn Ebert, second by Chris Ebert to nominate Bruce Long for Town Chair. With no more nominations, a motion by Deb Buchholz, second by Pat Craig to close nominations for Town Chair. Motion carried. Caucus Chair Roen called for nominations for Supervisor # 1 Motion by Gabrielle VonGompel second by Karen Hoffman to nominate Bryan Strohbusch for Supervisor #1. Motion by Chris Ebert, second by Bruce Long to nominate Marlyn Ebert for Supervisor #1. With no more nominations, a motion by Deb Buchholz, second by Sally Thiel to close nominations for Supervisor #1. Motion carried. Caucus Chair Roen called for nominations for Supervisor # 2 Motion by Chris Ebert, second by Marlyn Ebert to nominate Chris Ebert for Supervisor #2. With no more nominations, a motion by Deb Buchholz, second by Pat Criag to close the nominations for Supervisor #2. Motion carried. Caucus Chair Roen called for nominations for Clerk. Motion by Deb Buchholz, second by Bruce Long to nominate Judy Doud for Clerk. With no more nominations. a motion by Deb Buchholz, second by Pat Craig to close nominations for Clerk. Motion carried. Caucus Chair Roen called for nominations for Treasurer. Motion by Pat Craig, second by Bruce Long to nominate Julie Motiff for Treasurer. Motion by Deb Buchholz, second by Pat Craig to close nominations for Treasurer. Motion carried. Motion by Deb Pat Craig, second by Deb Buchholz to adjourn the caucus at 2:22 pm. Motion carried.
