TOWN OF ROYALTON TOWN BOARD MEETING Thursday, February 16, 2023 At the Town Hall at 4:00 p.m. E6132 State Hwy 54 New London AGENDA This meeting Agenda has been posted at the Town Hall; E5406 N. Shore Rd; N4715 St Hwy 22/110 posting places. 1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by Supr Ebert at 4: 00 p.m. 2. OPENING STATEMENT BY CHAIRMAN: This meeting and all other meeti ngs of the Town Board are open to the public. Proper notice has been posted and given to the press in accordance with WI Statutes so that the townspeople may be aware of the time, place, and ag enda of this meeting. 3. ROLL CALL: Marlyn Ebert, Mike Wieters, Lori Rodencal, & Sheri Wieters. Absent: Chairman Roen Visitors: Pat Craig, Judy Doud, Steve Motiff, Julie Motiff 4. VISITOR INPUT: None 5. CLERK ’S REPORT: Motion M Wieters second by Ebert to approve minutes. Motion approved. 6. TREASURERS REPORT: Trial balance of accounts. Motion M Wieters second by Ebert to approve the treasurer and clerk reconciled to the bank statement and the treasurer’s report. 7. BUSINESS: a. Cemetery Deed – Motion by M Wieters, second by Ebert to approve the Cemetery Deed. Motion carried. b. Picnic license – White Lake Preservation Association – Motion by M Wieters, second by Ebert to approve the Picnic license for the Spring Bash by the White Lake Preservation Association. Motion carried. b. Road Reports – trees have been cut on Landing Road, salt trucks were called out for intersections to be salted. c. Fire and Ambulance reports – Weyauwega Fire meeting – new proposed building addition to the station. The department talked about removing the upper deck would be approximately $300,000 difference. Manawa Fire – secretary is leaving, new recruits are starting, DNR providing wildfire trainings, calls were listed for the past month, ambulance staff is increasing, runs were listed. d. Meetings attended – Wieters – Weyauwega Fire, Ebert attended Zoning and Manawa Fire meeting. e. Correspondence – Affidavit of publication for liquor license, WTA agenda, Injury and Illness report submitted, Fire Certification completed for the Town, Housing survey completed with 2 new additional homes, Sheriff’s report, Cutting permits, construction permit from Viste. 8. LAND USE PERMITS: Land Use – Tyler & Jolene Nollenberg, accessory structure, Jeffrey & Jennifer Lamie – accessory structures, also had code violation approved. 9. AUDIT OF BILLS: Motion by M Wieters, second by Ebert to approve paying the bills. Motion carried. 10. SET AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Road reports; Fire and Ambulance repo rts, Bid Opening, Bigalke Bridge 11. SET DATE & TIME for next TOWN BOARD MEETING Town Board Meeting: Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Town Hall at 6:00 pm. 12. SIGN TOWN & CEMETERY CHECKS 13. MOTION TO ADJOURN – Motion by M Wieters, second by Ebert to adjourn at c 4:53 p.m. The Town Board requests persons requiring assistance to enable attendance and participation to provide 24 hour notice.
