TOWN OF ROYALTON TOWN BOARD MEETING Thursday, November 10, 2022 At the Town Hall IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE TOWN BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING And SPECIAL TOWN MEETING at 6:00 p.m. E6132 State Hwy 54 New London AGENDA This meeting Agenda has been posted at the Town Hall; E5406 N. Shore Rd; N4715 St Hwy 22/110 posting places. 1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 6:10 p.m. 2. OPENING STATEMENT BY CHAIRMAN: This meeting and all other meetings of the Town Board are open to the public. Proper notice has been posted and g iven to the press in accordance with WI Statutes so that the townspeople may be aware of the time, place, and agenda of this meeting. 3. ROLL CALL: Gerald Roen, Marlyn Ebert, Mike Wieters, Lori Rodencal, & Sheri Wieters. Visitors: Mandy Tauscheck, Sally Thiel, Dave Thiel, Dan Kretz, Jennepher Tousey. 4. VISITOR INPUT: Mandy Tauscheck inquiring having garbage pickup fees included on tax bills. More info needed. 5. CLERK ’S REPORT: Motion by Ebert, second by M Wieters to approve minutes from previous month. Motion carried. 6. TREASURERS REPORT: Trial balance of accounts. Motion by Ebert, second by M Wieters to approve the treasurer and clerk reconciled bank statement and the treasurer’s report. Motion carried. 7. BUSINESS: a. Weyauwega Town Board with road agreement – the Town of Weyauwega and Town of Royalton share 2 roads, Haire and Slough Rds, an agreement in writing has been made for the upkeep of these roads with signatures from both Towns to be kept on file. b. Kyle Fisher – survey for Jennepher Tousley – survey for property is being sold with a house and 5.1 acres, additional property being sold separately. Land survey was signed and forwarded on. c. Landing Road update – Two options were given for 900 feet of road to be done. Discussed shortening the length of roadwork to be done, Roen will check with the Highway Dept to see if an estimate could be given for this length to see if it is possible to afford to fix in the future. d. Picnic License – White Lake (WLACC) - Motion by Ebert, second by M Wieters to approve the Picnic License for WLACC. Motion carried. e. Road Reports – shouldering done on several roads. f. Fire and Ambulance reports – Manawa total runs were reported for ambulance and fire, fire prevention week was done. g. Meetings attended – Roen attended MARCC budget meeting, met to discuss roadwork, Ebert – Manawa Fire h. Correspondence – Zoning approval granted for Rhone, Resolution #23 to amend the Comprehensive Plan Map, affidavit for Public hearing, MFL transfer, WTA agenda, notice to cut wood, MARCC agenda and minutes, notice from Solarus will be burying a new fiber service drop to facility, Notice from DOR no longer assess the personal property as it is out of business, Sheriff’s report, zoning violations. 8. LAND USE PERMITS: Shoreland – Libby Sievert - Storage shed, Burden Family Revocable Living trust – accessory structures, Land Use – Adam & Kaitlin Spierings – covered porch and shed, Adam and Lacy Raisler – accessory structures, detached garage, Gene & Sandra Fronczak – accessory structures 9. AUDIT OF BILLS: Motion by Ebert, second by M Wieters second by to approve paying the bills. Motion carried. 10. SET AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Road reports; Fire and Ambulance reports, Landing Road update 11. MOTION TO ADJOURN – Motion by M Wieters, second by Ebert to adjourn at 8:10 p.m.. Motion carried. The Town Board requests persons requiring assistance to enable attendance and participation to provide 24 hour notice. Persons wishing to be on the agenda should notify the clerk or chairman ten days before the meeting
