TOWN OF ROYALTON ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE Tuesday, April 19, 2022, 7:00 p.m. Royalton Town Hall located at E6132 State Hwy 54 New London AGENDA This meeting Agenda has been posted at the Town Hall; E5406 N. Shore Rd; N4715 St Hwy 22/110 posting places. 1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Roen. 2. OPENING STATEMENT BY CHAIRMAN: This meeting and all other meetings of the Town Board are open to the public. Proper notice has been posted and given to the press in accordance with WI Statutes so that the townspeople may be aware of the time, place, and agenda of this meeting. 3. ROLL CALL: of all people present: Chairman Roen, Clerk Rodencal, Marlyn Ebert, Sheri Wieters, Mike Wieters, Patricia Craig, Debra Buchholz, Pat Roen, Gary Schafer 4. ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES FROM 2021 Motion to approve by Buchholz, second by M Wieters. Motion carried. 5. BUSINESS: 2021 Financial Report – Some questions were answered while going through the 2021 Financial Report in regards to Dog accounts and MFL amounts switched betwee n County and Town. Motion by Ebert, second by M Wieters to approve the Financial Report for 2021. Motion carried. a. Town Labor wages for Town Board – Motion by Craig, second by P Roen to set the Town Board Labor wages to $15.50 per hour. Motion carried. b. Elected Officials salaries 2023 – 2 year term. Chairman – present salary $5,500 – Motion by Schafer to increase by $2,000, second by P Roen. Call for ballot vote. YES -9 Motion carried. Salary will be $7,500. Supervisors – present salary $2350 – Motion by S Wieters to increase from $2350 to $2400 a year, second by Pat Craig. Call for ballot vote: YES-8 NO-1. Motion carried. Clerk – present salary $15,000 – Motion by S Wieters, second by Gary Schafer to increase from $15,000 to $16,000 a year. Call for paper ballot vote: YES- 8 NO-1. Motion carried. Treasurer – present salary $6,500 – Motion by Ebert, second by Craig to increase to $7,000. Call for paper ballot vote: YES-7 NO- 2. Motion carried. 6. INPUT: from Townspeople – Schafer inquired about Town including garbage pickup on the tax bill. Discussion was not in favor. 7. SET DATE & TIME for 2023 Annual Meeting – Motion by Craig, second by Schafer to set the date for the 2023 Annual meeting for Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Town Hall 7:00 pm. Motion carried. 8. Motion for adjournment – Motion by Buchholz, second by M Wieters to adjourn. Motion carried. The Town Board requests persons requiring assistance to enable attendance and participation to provide 24 hour notice. Persons wishing to be on the agenda should notify the clerk/chairman ten days before the meeting
