Monthly Town Board Meeting - December 10, 2024 Mukwa Town Hall, E8514 Weyauwega Road, Northport 7 in Attendance 480 Chairman Curns called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Notification of this meeting was given to the Press on November 26, 2024 and the final agenda was posted in the three designated places on December 6, 2024. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll call of Officers: Jim Curns, Chairman - Present; Lee Shaw, Supervisor I - Present; Matt Manske, Supervjsor 2 - Present; Sandy Jensen, Treasurer - Present; Jeannette Zielinski, Clerk - Present. All Meetings/Hearings will adhere to Robert's Rules of Order Pursuant to Town of Mukwa Ordinance 10-05. Minutes Approval: (a) November 12, 2024 Public Budget Hearing: Motion was made by Supervisor Shaw with a second by Supervisor Manske to approve the November 12, 2024 Public Budget Hearing Minutes as presented. Motion carried. (b) November 12, 2024 Special Town Meeting of the Electors: Motion was made by Supervisor Shaw with a second by Supervisor Manske to approve the November 12, 2024 Special Town Meeting of the Electors Minutes as presented. Motion carried. (c) November 12, 2024 Monthly Town Board Meeting Minutes: Motion was made by Supervisor Shaw with a second by Supervisor Manske to approve the November 12, 2024 Monthly Town Board Meeting Minutes with the noted corrections. Motion carried. Treasurer: Approve Monthly Treasurer's Report: Read by Treasurer Jensen. Motion was made by Supervisor Shaw and seconded by Supervisor Manske to accept the November 30, 2024 Treasurer's Report as presented & printed. Motion carried. Noted In-Person tax collection schedule was included with their tax bills & calendar is on the Town Hall door. BudgetNouchers: Approval & Payment of Vouchers: Motion was made by Chairman Curns to approve payment of Vouchers 29765 through 29780, dated November 13, 2024 through December 10, 2024, & Direct Withdrawals of Social Security, Medicare & Federal Tax of $1,125.70, the November 2:1 st We Energies Invoice of $302.852; for a total of$13,248.32. Second to Chairman Curn's motion was made by Supervisor Manske and the motion carried. Public Forum - Town of Mukwa Residents: Building Inspector: Read by Supervisor Shaw who made a motion to accept the monthly Building Inspector's Report as presented & printed, with a second to the motion made by Supervisor Manske. Motion carried. Certified Survey Map (CSM) Approvals: (a) Chris Ott - Jennings Road: Mr. Ott was present to answer any additional questions. Supervisor Shaw made a motion to Approve the Certified Survey Map for Christ Ott - Jennings Road as presented with a second to the motion made by Supervisor Mamske. Motion carried. (b) Jim & Cathy Cums - Lyons Road: Chairman Curns and his son-in-law answered questions. Note that a parcel number is needed to do the perk testing needed. Motion to approve the.Jim & Cathy Curns Certified Survey Map for Lot# I on Lyons Road was made by Supervisor Shaw with a second to the motion made by Supervisor Manske. Aye: 2 Abstain: I Roads: (a) Monthly Report: (b) Road Equipment-Report/Repair's/ Purchases Needed: Plow truck not back from Waupaca County Highway for maintenance & repairs. Meetings/Training/Waupaca County Zoning Hearings: Attended: Chairman Cums & Supervisor Shaw attended the November 14th @ 5:30 p.m. - Wisconsin Towns Association - Waupaca County Unit Meeting held at the Waupaca County Highway Department, 2670 Cty Rd A, Waupaca.
