Town of Lind Special Board Meeting Minutes Lind Town Hall, N1315 County Road A, Waupaca, WI Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025 immediately following Planning Commission Meeting 1. Meeting called to order at 6:15 p.m. 2. Open Meeting Statement read. 3. Roll call: K. Nickel, T. Stearns, C. Hardy, C. McCoy, K. Barrows all present. Public attendance per sign in sheets (7 per sign in book). 4. Approved Agenda: Motion by Supervisor II Hardy, seconded by Supervisor I Stearns to approve the agenda as printed; motion passed unanimously by voice vote. 5. Public Input/Comments: Sue Golding advised of a sink hole located in the Lind Center Cemetery; Clerk McCoy advised of patching of 3 holes needed on Lind Center Road just north of N1475. 6. Crack Sealing Servies – Chairman Nickel explained the difficulty of not be able to put together a bid packet for crack sealing services. Discussion was held. Motion by Chairperson Nickel, seconded by Supervisor 1 Stearns to approve Crack Sealing Services to crack seal $20,000.00 in 2025. Motion passed unanimously by voice vote. 7. Discuss Shoreland Ordinance additional information and Floodplain Ordinance (Permits required by Waupaca County when replacing culverts in any flood plain area of roads.) Chairperson Nickel explained this at the Planning Commission meeting earlier this evening. All the town board was present at the meeting. 8. Future agenda items & Upcoming meetings: • Monthly Board Meeting: Monday June 9th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. 9.
