Town of Lind Special Board Meeting Minutes Lind Town Hall, N1315 County Road A, Waupaca, WI Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. 1. Meeting called to order at 5:00 p.m. 2. Open Meeting Statement read. 3. Pledge of Allegiance was done. 4. Roll call – Kathy Nickel, Zoey Nelson, Cindy Hardy, Ken Barrows, Faye Neumann all present. Public attendance per sign in book (4 signed in). 5. Approve or amend agenda: Motion by Supervisor II Hardy to approve agenda as presented; second by Supervisor I Nelson; motion passed unanimously by voice vote. 6. Public Comment: Elector asked for list of candidates being approved; list provided by Clerk on sign in table. 7. Approval of Additional Poll Workers for February 18, 2025 Primary Election: Clerk presented list indicating need for 4 additional staff for subs: Renae Sommers, Stacy Bartel, Jaleen Hacklander, and Joan Schumacher are available to sub and have received appropriate training. Elector questioned how many are needed for Primary; Clerk replied 5 staff are needed, but need to have substitutes due to unforeseen circumstances that can occur. Motion by Supervisor I Nelson to approve the 4 names as listed for subs for Primary Election; second by Chair Nickel; motion passed unanimously by voice vote. Clerk also shared that she has scheduled two evenings at the Town Hall for in-person absentee voting when asked by elector. 8.
